Under saddle, Peter is just as impressive. He’s straightforward and easy to ride, with a rhythmic, ground-covering canter that makes it easy to picture him fox hunting over fences or galloping across country. The video from 7/11/25 was taken just after Peter was shod. He currently doesn’t have quite enough foot to hold hind shoes, which is why he appears a little short-strided behind. With time, his feet are expected to fill out nicely and will benefit from hind shoes as his feet grow.
