Has your adoption application expired?

The Secretariat Center's period for approved adopters lasts for three years. After 3 years you will need to re-apply for approval. If your boarding location and references have not changed, we will only need your contact information and the details of what you are looking for in your next equine partner. No further references or photos are required.

If the location of where you would be keeping your adopted Thoroughbred has changed, then you will need to fill out the regular Adoption Application.

You will be required to submit a $25 application filing fee before your application or renewal can be submitted.
